“For me, Jose Serpa is the lion of Bucaramanga town
in Colombia. Last year the lion was sleeping during the race,
so he was not in the breakaway. This year, the lion woke up.
We will try to win in Kuala Lumpur in the Criterium but before
that sure first of all we must protect our leader position.
My philosophy is to honour the race but we are very happy
if we are able to win overall classement and if the team wins
other jersey, we would accept it but our main objective is
to win." |

“I thought my career was over 2 years ago. I only
joined the team to finish it off. but then the team inspired
me to do beyond what I'd done before. I won the Jelajah
Malaysia last year which was my first ever GC win.
This win was unexpected and
I was only informed last night that I would be targetting
the blue jersey for the team. I have got the best results
of my career with this team and I will stay here until the
end of my career."
