100plus as the official isotonic drink for Le Tour de Langkawi 2009

KUALA LUMPUR: Once again the number 1 isotonic drink in the country, 100PLUS becomes the official isotonic drink during the Le Tour de Langkawi which will be held from the 9th to 15th February this year.

Chief Operating Officer LTdL, Datuk Naim Mohamad said that the continuation of sponsorship of 100PLUS shows the strong cooperation between the organizer and the isotonic drink company, which has been one of the best supporter of sports development in the country.

"We are truly honoured to have 100PLUS along with us in the most prestigious road-race in Asia.”

"I hope that the cooperation between both parties will remain, profitable and contribute to the development of cycling in the country."

He made these statements during the sponsorship ceremony of 100PLUS as the official isotonic drinks of LTdL 2009 at the headquarters of LTdL in Bukit Jalil today.

Naim received the sponsorship from the Manager of National Corporate Affairs of F&N Coca-Cola (M) Sdn Bhd, Dato' Haji Kamal bin Harun.

This time around the 14th edition of LTdL, a seven-stage race will commence on the 9th Feb from Putrajaya to Senawang, a total distance of 120km.

With “Sports Tourism towards One Malaysia” as its theme, 20 teams from all over the world have confirmed their participation in the 14th edition of LTdL2009 of Hors status. This year’s event covers a total range of 1036.3 km, from Putrajaya to Senawang (Stage 1), from Senawang to Melaka (Stage 2), Melaka to Melaka (Stage 3) Melaka to Bandar Baru Bangi (Stage 4), Petaling Jaya to Genting Highlands (Stage 5), Batang Kali to Shah Alam (stage 6) and finally Criterium Kuala Lumpur (Stage 7).

LTdL 2009 is organized by MNCF with the support from the Malaysian Government through the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and fully supported by Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and Asian Cycling Confederation (ACC).
