Cyclists For LTdL To Train In Genting Highlands

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 19 (Bernama)
-- Fourteen national cyclists, including those representing the
MCF Continental Team, will train in Genting Highlands to prepare
themselves for the 2009 Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) 2009 from Feb
9 to 15.

Omar said the training would be for two weeks beginning Monday.
"The cyclists will camp at
Genting Highlands where they will train for three to four hours
everyday under the supervision of officers from the National Sports
Institute," he told Bernama here Monday.
He said the training was also hoped
to build cooperation, especially among climbers like Loh Sea Keong,
Mohd Zamri Salleh, Mohd Rauf Nur Misbah and Mohd Faris Abd Razak
.
Twenty teams are expected to participate
in LTdL 2009 which is organised by the Youth and Sports Ministry
with the cooperation of the Malaysian National Cycling Federation.
